C-6000i is a fully automatic fishing machine. It pays out the line and detects when the sinker hits the bottom, positions the hooks at a desired distance from it and performs jigging action with desired length, speed and type. It detects when fish bites the hooks and hauls the catch up to the surface. The user is in full control of all parameters of the jigging and can also set parameters concerning weather, ocean currents and bottom conditions.
C-6000i computerised jigging reel is a highly sophisticated fishing device. It provides high quality catch at a minimum cost. The investment is low compared to the efficiency of the machine and the quality of the catch. The jigging is based on a traditional fishing method, which has in the course of time proved to be very efficient compared to others.
C-6000i has very low power consumption that leads to economical and environmental advantages. Fishing can be performed for hours without having the engine running which reduces pollution and use of energy resources. The machine is still very powerful and fast at work.
The jigging fishing method introduces a new dimension in selectivity of size and species. The problem of by-catch is not present using these machines.
C-6000i is designed very strong and light. Its place is in harsh environments under heavy workload and the small size, strong build and lightweight is essential for best results. The motor is computer controlled and fitted with permanent magnets. There is no clutch or drive but instead the line drum is attached directly to the motor axis. There are few friction surfaces and maintenance requirements are kept minimal.
C-6000i is controlled by a graphical user interface. The big LCD screen shows values of all parameters and current status with easy to understand icons and numbers. Rugged keyboard controls the machine and gives access to changing of settings and parameters that control the behaviour of the machine in every possible way.
C-6000i is fitted with ten different fishing systems in fixed memory, such as cod, pollock, bait, squid and macrel, step jigging and various search systems. The user can also design his own systems and store them in memory. The number of possible adjustments is almost endless. By adding the communication option, the machines can share information and be remotely controlled.
C-6000i can inform the user when it has fish on the line and when it is coming up with the catched fish. This is signalled by emitting a whistle blast, two shorts when the reel detects a fish and two long when it has hauled in the line.
C-6000i is very dependable. The machine is protected against polarity reversal and too high or too low voltage. It can operate on 12-24V DC, i.e. it will adapt automatically to the connected voltage from 12 to 24 V.
The DNG C-6000i Computerised Jigging Reel is manufactured by DNG in Iceland. All mechanical equipment of the reel (motor, drum and all visible gear) is designed and manufactured by DNG and the software is of course designed by DNG. The chosen materials are aluminium, stainless steel and plastics that can endure the environment that the machines are designed for. Electrical components purchased from suppliers are first rate. The DNG Jigging Reel is subject to strict quality control, where all adjustments are tested under variable load.
